We all have goals. At least, we all should have goals. How we track goals and measure progress is key to attaining them. Heather Ibey of Randy’s Toy Shop in Noblesville, IN, Mark Ellis and Collin Harbour discuss the importance of incremental steps in achieving goals.
Incrementalism:
Life is not about getting things done all at once. Your goals can be achieved through incrementalism. Take small steps towards your goal. Move towards them each day with attainable and measurable steps. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t accomplish your goals all at one. It will take some time, but create “wins” along the way.
Recognize and celebrate your achievements that get you closer to your goals – even if they are small.
Here’s a tip: create a checklist and mark off the incremental steps as they are completed.
If you put your mind to something - the power of your mentality, of positive thoughts - YOU CAN DO ANYTHING you set your mind to. Mark Ellis, May 7, 2021

We all face criticism. Kentucky Fried Chicken was criticized by the '"entire world" for their fries. The easiest way to deal with criticism is to have specific strategies to guide you through the criticism.
The Four Strategies for Overcoming Criticism:
1. Realization: that criticism is inevitable.
2. Evaluation: categorize the contemplation as false, true, or a little of both.
3. Contemplation: think about the criticism and what can be done about it, or push it aside if it is not true.
4. Activation: take action to overcome the criticism.
After the season of reflecting and resting - get going. Just Go With It! A written out plan is not a requirement. In fact, too much detail can lead to anxiety. Affirmation is key . . . but don't delay on your plans. Start now - go with it!
What happens when your "BAM" moment occurs? Do you get discouraged and let self-doubt creep in? Okay, after the emotions are gone . . . it's time to stand strong.
Bruce Pulver created his first acrostic out of his "BAM" moment:

Stand
Tall
Remain
Optimistic
Now Go for it!
